Hello ya’ll
My name is Buddy and my life changed quite a bit over the last couple of weeks. First of all our mom and my little non-fur-sister moved out, then my dad and I moved from our house with the nice yard into an apartment. My dad now isn’t at home for many, many hours and we had a serious talk about this. He wants me to have a good time for the rest of my life and waiting for him all the time isn’t what we both want for me. So he found me a nice lady where I can crash for a while till I find my very own person that has lots and lots of time for me.
I was born in March 2001 (yes I am a senior) and I am not one of these big guys. I only weigh 14 lbs, I am housebroken and very well mannered. I go along with all the dogs in my foster mom’s house very well.
There is one thing you have to know about me, I have a bit of a weak heart. The vet calls it “congestive heart failure”. Whatever that means, I only know that I cough sometimes a bit, not bad and that I get a treat in the morning and in the evening. They hide my pills in there, they think I don’t know … ha !!
I cannot play and run the whole day like I did when I was younger, but to be honest who can when it comes to my age. My foster mom told me the other day she expect me to make it at least till 20 and not one day less.
Buddy is on Lasix and Enalpril for his heart condition. He shows no signs of illness. He is up to date on shots and heart worm negative.
