SAMMSON's Story...
Hi, my name is SAMMSON and I'm approx 3-4 yrs old. I'm neutered and a little on the thin side, but not for long! The food here takes the cat's "meow"! Anyway, I'm being treated for a mild form of heartworm and then I'll be able to go home with you. I'm a very BIG dog and ideal weight for me will be around 150#'s. I'm sweet and loving, good in the car, nice to walk on a leash and was a really good boy at the vet's office. Everyone loves me because I'm so sweet and would love to play with you. They bought me this new bed and I just love it...in fact I'm not getting off it! I'll play with you in the yard but, have no concept of my size so I could really take you out if I wanted to. You won't find a nicer guy than me, so come check me out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SAMMSON, a Granite Bay Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Granite Bay, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Granite Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Granite Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Granite Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Granite Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
