Drake's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

My name is Drake! I'm a real heavyweight! Just kidding! I'm 9 weeks old and weigh 1lb and 8 ounces. I'll probably top out at 5-7 pounds. I'm a schnauzer/toy terrier mix in appearance. I was rescued with my sisters from some people just giving us little tiny babies away to anyone! Yikes!

MASH volunteers took me into foster and I have a super nice place to stay until you adopt me! Please won't you let me come and be a member of the family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drake, a Millington Standard Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Standard Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Millington, or seeking a Standard Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Millington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Millington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Millington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Standard Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Standard Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Millington paves the way for another one to be saved.
