K.J.'s Story...
This sweet boy was winning admirers all day Saturday. Several groups came out to walk dogs and everyone had wonderful things to say about KJ. He truly is a gentle giant. He is strong and can pull some on the lead when he sees something he wants to investigate. But he is very calm and he met other dogs without any problems. When it came time for his photo shoot he stood and sat quietly to pose. He enjoys getting attention from people and is just an all-around nice guy. KJ is sharing his kennel with our lovely female Browney. 5 years, 76 lbs, heartworm positive,

Act quickly to adopt K.J.. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

K.J., a Darlington Rottweiler/Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Bloodhound for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Rottweiler/Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Bloodhound breeders who help with Rottweiler/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
