Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Missy is a small Cocker that weighs only 12.5 pounds. She does need to put on a few pounds since she was found in poor condition. She has been out on her own for awhile and got pretty matted up. She has been groomed and feels so much better now. She was walking up Getwell Road near Shelby Drive and rescued by one of our volunteers. Traffic is very bad in that area as well. We have not been able to find her owner and she is now up for adoption.
Missy is about 1 to 1 1/2 years old, heartworm negative, current on her vaccines. She's been wormed and is on preventatives. She broke with kennel cough on the 3rd day at her foster home so it will be a couple of weeks before she can come out to an adoption event. She is scheduled to be spayed September 28th and get a microchip then too.
Her adoption fee is $120.
If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://members.petfinder.com/~MS72/adoption_app.html

Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verifications.
