Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone, I'm Sandy!! :) I'm a sweet, affectionate, and calm one and a half year old lab mix that is looking for a forever home.
I do like to play and I have energy, but I'm also a very relaxed and calm dog at the same time. I like to take walks and would make a great companion for just one or a whole big family. I haven't been tested around cats, but I'm very open to seeing how I am around them.
I'm very smart and I learn fast, so if you are looking to teach me something then you can bet I'll have a good handle on it fast.
Just so you know, I was recently tested and do exhibit the presence of heartworm (even though I'm not exhibiting any symptoms, which is good), but I'm on advantage multi, so with continuing that it will help to treat me as it has proven to be very effective in preventing new heartworm infections, as well as clearing the microfilaria in dogs with existing heartworm infections.
Although I am currently in Natchez, Mississippi, transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee. If you are interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/
