Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howdy! Nubbin here. I came to rescue from an out-of-state puppy mill bust in 2015. When I went to get neutered, the vet noticed some damage to my tail that was most likely due to trauma. Most of it had to be removed, but I still have a little nubbin, thus my adorable name.
I’m a sweet, fun, feisty and active little man who lives to play with other dogs. I just entered foster care with a couple of fabulous girls, Cammie and Lady, who are showing me how great this life-in-a-home thing can be. My foster mom, Lindsey, says I’ve been nothing short of perfect — no accidents, marking, other trouble a young guy my age who has never lived in a home might bring. How great is that?!
I’m about a year old, around 15-16 lbs, and cute as can be. I’m looking for a family who has other dogs (I get along great with boys and girls) and a big, fenced-in yard where we can all play all day … literally!
I can be a little “mouthy” sometimes, but we’re working on that. If you have children, they must be dog-smart and know how to handle me.
