My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello. My name is McKenzie, and I will steal your heart in an instant. I have a whole lot of personality packed into this tiny 8 lb. body! I LOVE to be the center of attention.

I am a 4 year old Scottie, Yorkie mix, and boy am I cute!

I am happy just quietly following you around like a little shadow, and I am in heaven if my feet don't have to touch the ground at all. I love to get pets, and I'm not shy about asking for them.

Other dogs? Eh. I don't mind them (except those big, hyper ones who have no sense of personal space! They scare me). But I have a jealous streak, so I wouldn't mind being your one and only love. Same goes for kids (those little hyper ones scare me, too!). It would be ideal if my new family had no kids or older kids.

I don't mind my crate at all. I can snuggle up and take a nap. It's my safe place. In my foster home, I stay in my crate whenever my foster parents are gone. That's just fine with me.

Right now I am having some issues with my skin (alopecia and dandruff on my hind quarters). But my foster mom is helping me work on looking my best again soon!
