Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gypsy. Gypsy is a female 1 ½ years old black and white smooth coated Border Collie. On the petite side, as she weighs only around 35 pounds. , She was surrendered to BCIN because her owner is going off to college and could no longer keep her. She is an absolute lovely dog. She is very eager to please, loves to be with "her person" and will forge a close bond with you. She will do whatever you ask of her…she can be a couch potato or run and play ball with you. She walks well on a leash. She loves children, but, small ones should be avoided as she might knock them down. She has not been evaluated with cats. Gypsy loves to be inside with you. As far as we can tell, Gypsy is housebroken. She would do great with almost any family. However, she does crave attention, so she is not a dog where she is home alone all day long. She would be best placed in a home where there is someone home part of the day.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please go on line and fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on our website at http://www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html
