Kiki's Story...
THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING OF AN OWNED PET. PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER AT THE CONTACT INFORMATION LISTED BELOW.

Kiki, in search of a new forever home or foster family. Female, turns 7 years old on labor day 2015. Fixed but not declawed. She enjoys snuggling up on your lap and getting lots of cuddles at night. She does not prefer to be around dogs as she hides and hisses at them. She has only been around her sister cat, they loved eachother, but i am not sure how she will be around stranger cats. Good with children but skittish so probably not best for small children. She is around my niece a lot but usually hides as my niece is a wild 2 1/2 year old. Doesn't do to well with change but has always adjusted so i just need someone with a little patience.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiki, a Anoka Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Anoka, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Anoka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anoka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anoka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anoka paves the way for another one to be saved.
