This handsome boy is Anderson. Anderson is a Pointer mix, weighing 43 pounds. He had been in the shelter since Dec. 2, 2014 and is now just 18 months old…he had lived almost half his life there. He was loved by the shelter staff and it shows! The day I was driving to pick him up from the shelter, I was thinking about how lucky he was that he was finally getting out and would be in a loving foster home with our family. Then I picked him up, brought him home and realized that I was the lucky one! The lucky one that gets to spend time with this totally wonderful, lovebug of a dog, while we find him his perfect forever home! He just knows how to spread the love around and make you smile. He gets along great with other dogs and small puppies, does not pay attention to the friendly cat, sleeps quietly in his crate and is already housetrained. He would love hikes and walks or anything you want to do! He will be a great companion to almost any household. He would love a fenced yard for safe playtime and stretching his legs, but he is not high energy at all.
