HERE’S KASEY….who couldn’t be happier to be out of the shelter! Why he was ever there in the first place is a mystery to us. This precious, 11 lb, golden tan, 1-1.5 yr old, Shih Tzu X (maybe a little Lhasa?) is also known as a little circus performer! He loves to dance on his hind legs and bat his paws around, letting you know he’s totally ready to play! Loves walks, loves toys, loves people and loves other dogs! He’s a lady’s man….and can get a little fresh with the girls….gives new meaning to being the caboose! He loves belly rubs but is definitely on the active side, so going to a family with another playful dog and kids (over 5 yrs old please) would be perfection for Kasey! He would not be good in a sedate or senior environment. While he seems to be potty trained, we never guarantee. He is at doggie playcare, being a little social butterfly, so he may need a refresher course. He will use pp pads, but loves to rearrange them to his liking! Kasey is a character who will keep you smiling, and he’s ready to clown around with you!

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
