Pepper's Story...
I’m Pepper, the middle-sized brother of three. I guess we’re sort of like the Three Billy Goats Gruff. My tiny brother is PeeWee, and my bigger brother is PorkChop. That puts me right in the middle. As the “middle child,” I make every effort to get my foster mommy’s attention by being super lovey and exuberant. I love to give kisses to her face! Foster mommy has the hardest time trying to take pictures of me because I never sit still! I just want to be held or pet or hugged….or I want to playing with toys, toys, and more toys! So even though I’m the middle child, don’t think of me as that middle sister on the tv show – you know, “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.” No, I’m Pepper, Pepper, Pepper. Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper, too? Or have a Pepper as a cuddly, huggable, playful, and downright adorable member of your family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
