MAE is a beautiful long-haired gray lady about a year old, a true miracle survivor. Part of a litter of three born to a feral mom in a bad neighborhood at the beginning of winter, she watched everyone else die. Determined to survive, she made a deal with the elderly dog chained in her backyard, and moved in with him, sharing body heat and his food. In the spring, a Magicat volunteer, alerted to her need, was able to get her trapped and placed with a foster mom experienced in working with terrified ferals. Mae has come a long way, doing well with the other cats in the household and gradually warming up to people. She is learning to give and receive affection and loves to be cuddled. She is spayed, current on her shots, negative for FIV/FELV, and is offered as an INSIDE ONLY kitty to a cat-experienced household where she can have safety, affection and friends and never be cold again. About Magicats Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small and devoted group of volunteers that started this organization almost four years ago. Our goal is to find homes for as many cats and kittens as we are physically and financially able to do. We have no facility and all of our pets are cared for in loving foster homes. We do as much as we can with the funds from adoption fees, donations and contributions from all of our volunteers.

Working in conjunction with adopt-a-pet will be of great help to us.
We are happy to arrange a private meeting and adoption for any of our cats after we have approved the adoption application.
We respond quickly to phone messages and email inquiries.

Our Adoption Process...

Our current fee for a cat or kitten is $68.00
We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.
Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.
Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.
