My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sterling was living outside at a trailer park in Circle Pines and one day the woman feeding him noticed he had been attacked by an animal and he had large open wounds on his backside, which means Sterling was trying to get away because he is a lover not a fighter. A SCRAM volunteer rushed to get him and take him to the vet where they treated his wounds. They also found two fractured teeth which needed to be removed.

Even after all the hardship and suffering that Sterling has endured because someone chose to discard him outside, Sterling is the most gentle, loving cat you'll likely find. He loves to be held; if you pick him up, he will nestle into your arms and start purring contentedly. Sterling enjoys being petted and to have his tummy rubbed. He also gets along with other cats and is very non-aggressive; Sterling doesn't have a mean bone in his body.

Sterling will do best getting canned food twice a day since it is more difficult for him to eat dry food after his tooth extractions. Sterling is a very loving, affectionate cat who appreciates being in a home with someone who will love him and take care of him. Sterling still looks rough from his time spent outside, but he is a diamond in the rough. It will take time for his outward appearance to transform.

Sterling has been neutered, vaccinated, has tested negative for Feline Leukemia, and is estimated to be approximately 2 years old.
