My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

YES, WE DO HAVE TWO NEW PUPPIES!

BEAR and his sister FUZZY Came to us from a sad situation. The family had to many dogs while dealing with difficult issues and problems. Doing the right thing is never easy, but it is the right thing to do. Thank you, Carolyn.

BEAR, a black, male,Toy Poodle puppy was born May 30, 2015. Both his parents are AKC. Bear is already 9 1/2" inches tall and 5 1/2 pounds.

He is going to be a bigger boy; considered an over sized Toy Poodle. That means he will be taller than the AKC Toy Poodle Standards of 10 inches tall.

This very pretty puppy boy was Vet checked healthy by our Vet. Everyone at our Vet's office passed the puppy Bear around, so all could hold and socialize him.

He is now up to date on his shots, worming, Home Again micro chipped and registered. He was also a perfect puppy boy for his bath, nails and hair cut.

Bear is now at a very critical age (12- 18 weeks) for learning and forming his personality. We are socializing him to teach Bear that new people and new places are not so scary and horrible.

He has become extremely friendly, outgoing and a social butterfly with everyone and everything.

This boy has also quickly learned TREATS are great, so he will come when called! Wow! Oh yes, Bear loves to be held, loved and will snuggle. He will also give you kisses. What a sweetheart.

For those who are interested in AGILITY, this boy is your opportunity. Obviously, his tail has not been docked, he is up on leg, food motivated and is always ready to run, run and then run some more.

Puppies are cute, but they are also a lot of work and ACTIVE! Bear's socialization will need to continue in a positive way so he will become a wonderful and loving adult Poodle! This puppy has been perfect with other Poodles and will keep his kennel clean.

ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 10 AND NO LARGE OR AGGRESSIVE DOGS.

+A FAMILY WITH PAST POODLE AND/OR PUPPY EXPERIENCE will be given priority+

NOTE: Bear came to us named. We do not change the name to prevent confusion when the Poodle is adopted and the new family changes the name again.

To the right family, his adoption fee is $550.00 which includes the MN State Sales tax of $40.00, his Vet check, shots, worming, micro chip registration, a bag and can of puppy food, treats, kennel, blanket, dog bed, vitamins, toys, dog shampoo, puppy book, leash, collar (all pictured on our web site) and lots of good information to help your adoption start off on the right paw forward.

Also included is his neuter. You will be required to return Bear to us by 9 months and we will have him neutered by our Vet.

Or to the right family, you can have him neutered at your Vet and receive a $100.00 rebate OR donate that rebate to Picket Fence Poodle Rescue.

NOTICE: WE ARE NOT CASH AND CARRY!!! YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FOR ADOPTION.
