My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is a gorgeous, very friendly and affectionate 21/2 year old. He was born outside in Saco and was fed by a wonderful woman - she fed his mother and siblings too! Until FoFF trapped him and realized what a sweet, quiet boy he is!! He has a deep black coat that is very soft and shiny and he keeps himself very well groomed. He loves to be petted and comes to get his morning cuddles as soon as he knows I am awake.

Shadow LOVES the other cats in the house and will bug them until they play with him! He will flop down next them and nudge them for some mutual grooming time, then jump up and run away to find the dog and see if he can get her to play for a bit. He is not easily dissuaded by either the cats or the dog if he wants some attention, but is never mean or aggressive. He would do well in a house with other cats and obviously gets along with dogs too!

Shadow may take some time to settle into a new home, but he is not a cat who disappears when other people are around, he enjoys our company and is becoming quite social!
I think he will warm up fairly quickly, though like most cats is not enamored with crowds of people - he and the other cats just go and play in another room!
