My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barney is a terrier mix, around 3.5-4yrs old. The worst thing is he might need to lose a couple of pounds (he weighs approx. 17lbs). We've cut back his food slightly to see if that'll help. He's up to date on all shots. His yearly check-up was just last month.

He's fully house-broken. We usually walk him three times a day, but he can wait a really long time when necessary. He's afraid of dogs larger than him, but is never aggressive with them - he just runs away or avoids them. He enjoys dogs his size or smaller. .

Barney can be rather shy and nervous, especially around new people. He's great with children (ages 4 & 7) but would probably be happier with a single person or a couple, because he seems to be super loyal to one person and doesn't enjoy too much turmoil. That being said, he gets a lot of attention from children and he's been great with it. He can be bone-aggressive, especially when hiding under the couch, but ti's limited to growls only.

Barney is also a really sweet, loving dog. He loves to be pet and would love to be a lap dog. If he doesn't get enough attention, he'll come to you and demand more pets! If you sit on the floor he'll immediately run over and stay in your lap until you remove him or get up
