Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gilligan is an orange tabby with white, neutered male cat. He was born approximately December 2014. He’s a large cat and still growing. He’s a super gentle guy, a little shy but will warm up to you once you give him the attention he loves. Gilligan had a rough beginning to his life because his original adoptive family had children that were not nice to him, so he spent all his time hiding from them. But since our organization took him on a few months ago, Gilligan is now so much better, having been fostered in a quiet, loving home. He loves being held and having his neck massaged. He’s an easy purrer. Gilligan is still young and loves running around and being the fool. He can be a leg follower if he really likes you, waiting for you to guide him. He’s being trained to go outside on a leash and tolerates short walks and being on a leash for long periods on a deck or patio area outside, as long as he feels secure. He adores other cats and tolerates quiet dogs. Gilligan will require a quiet, patient and understanding home with no children, especially the first few months until he gains your trust and feels secure in his new home. He loves being talked to gently as this will quiet his worries. Once established, Gilligan would make a perfect indoor/outdoor cat without the need for a leash as you see fit. The adoption would be subject to a home visit and a $125 fee.
