Meet Maggie. She is probably a Shepherd/Malinois/Terrier mix. She is about 1 ½ years old, medium sized, spayed, HW- and up to date on shots. She is crate and house trained, knows how to sit and is very agile. She gets along great with other dogs and loves kids!
Here’s her story – she lived for 6+ months in an overgrown wooded lot. Every day I left food and water and called out to her but she was too afraid to come near. Finally a decision was made to set a trap and bring her in. Well, she surprised everyone. She transformed from a dog that wouldn’t even show her face to cuddling up and giving kisses. We only knew it was the same dog because every now and then you would get a glimpse of her crossing the street to go to the grove on the other side.
She is still very shy around strangers but she’s getting better day by day. Once she trusts you she will love, love, love and follow your every step. Please give this girl a chance.
