Samantha is a 2 yr old Weimaraner and Hound mix. She is a medium sized dog (chunky at this time) weighing 55 lbs.
She loves playing with other dogs that allow her to be boss --- so she can be selective. Her play includes lots of noises, wrestling and hiding under a blanket along with break time lounging on the couch. On walks she is non-reactive when meeting dogs on a walk. Ignores cats.
Older kids only as she is skeptical about sharing her toys --- although she gladly will exchange her toy for another. LOOVES to go for rides in the car, walks well on leash, she prances with her head and her tail held high! Like most hounds she is vocal and will bark at you to play, but doesn't bark at the neighbors dogs. She knows what she likes and doesn't like and will tell you! Lots of personality.
Best suited for a dog-experienced home with older kids. Samantha could do very well with another dog or would do well as an only dog.

Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***
