My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Sierra. I am a 10-month-old spayed female Whippet/Beagle mix. I weigh approximately 38 pounds.

I'm a sweet, loving, super friendly pup who loves being around all my human companions. Just so you know, I like hanging out with other dogs, too!

I'm inquisitive, energetic, and playful. Everything you would expect from a puppy! I'm always happy and my tail never stops wagging. The smallest things can excite me and I'm always looking for new adventures!

You probably want to know a little about my background. My friends don't know much, but what they do know is that my brother and I had a family at one point. Both of us have microchips and have been fixed so our owner must have cared for us, right? It's strange to me that my family would go through all the trouble just to one day dump us off at a high-kill shelter. I doubt they even looked back to make sure that we were OK.

When CageFree heard about my brother and I, they knew that we needed out of the pound. It was no place for dogs like us! My friends here have promised that they will find the perfect home for me (and my brother too, of course!) and that I will never have to spend another night in the shelter again.

I'm looking for an active family as I am still a puppy and have some energy to burn. I'm also hoping that my new family would want to take me with them everywhere.
