Minnie's Story...
Meet Minnie! She is a sweet little 20 lb pup who just loves to play! She loves to wrestle with her foster brother and she LOVES to play fetch! She is so friendly and fun to be around. She even likes cats. She loves people, and is so happy just to sit with you and snuggle. She is still young, between 9 and 12 months old, but she won’t get much bigger than she is now. She has all the fun puppy energy, without the bad puppy habits. She is also very smart, she has already learned sit, lay, and she can go to her crate on command! She would fit well into a family with medium to larger dogs and older kids. If you are looking for a spunky, small dog then Minnie is for you! She is house-trained, crate trained, and walks great on a leash. She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, parasite free, and she is current on Trifexis. She is fostered near Huntsville, AL but is available for adoption in your area. You can fill out an application for this sweet girl here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Once received, her foster mom will be in touch to answer any questions you have about Minnie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Knoxville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
