Puma's Story...
Puma is a show-stopper, no doubt! You can't help but smile when you see her short little legs and stocky build waddle around - and boy, is she a happy thing! She settled in very quickly at her foster home and absolutely adores her foster mom. Puma is very, very short and stocky - so not a small dog. But don't let that fool you, she LOVES her walks! And walks fantastically on leash, gazing up at her foster mom the entire time, smiling and wagging her tail. She's a very well behaved, easy dog who wants nothing more than to hang out with her people. She is doing well in her foster home with the other dogs there, along with the cat. She's perfectly housebroken and great in her crate as well. Keep in mind it's impossible to know what breed(s) any dog is mixed with. It's also impossible to know how old they are - best guess is Puma is about 3-5 years old. None of those small details really matter, because the first adopter that comes along and meets her will no doubt fall instantly in love with this short, stocky darling. Please note that the first step in our process is the adoption application, found on our website, www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org. Puma is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puma, a Reisterstown English Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Reisterstown, or seeking a English Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Reisterstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reisterstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reisterstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with English Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reisterstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
