My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut is fostered in Oak Creek WI, 53154 through United Yorkie Rescue http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org. To find out more about Peanut, contact her foster momma at: debra.ross@usbank.com
Peanut is a 4 year old, 15 pound Yorkie-mix girl who came to United Yorkie Rescue in June 2015. Peanut has anxiety issues, which we are working to correct, however she needs a stay at home owner who’s able to keep her active, and continue to work with her on her anxiety challenges. A trait of her anxiety is licking the bottom half of doors, which seems to be like nail biting humans. There does not seem to be a reason for her to do this, but she’s picked this habit up along the way at some point, and we’re working to correct her habit. Peanut does not crate, its part of her anxiety, she has a hardy appetite and loves to go for long walks. This girl is so outgoing otherwise, you can play somewhat rough and tumble with her, she loves to have toys through for her so she can run and get them, and she loves tug-o-war with her pull toy. Some toys and other objects she gets ahold of are shred material, so she must be watched carefully as she will shred plastic bags (potential suffocation hazard), paper, and other objects. She acts like a puppy still! (and needs a watchful eye)
Peanut is working on her potty training but sometimes has accidents, although she’s doing much better. She’s good with other dogs and respectful OLDER children. Sudden noises that startle her have caused her to nip in the past. She loves sleeping in bed with her foster momma at night.
