Trudy's Story...
From her long, elegant nose to her furiously wagging tail, Trudy is full of puppy love. She is about 6 months old and is going through the awkward puppy stage where her legs just don’t seem to work in unison. That doesn’t bother her one bit though. Trudy is carefree and wants nothing more than to play all day long and then crash at your feet when it’s puppy naptime. Trudy is a great family dog and would be a wonderful addition to almost any household. Trudy looks like a mix of Greyhound and Shepherd and weighs 35 pounds at 6 months of age. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy, a Austin Greyhound/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Austin, or seeking a Greyhound/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Greyhound/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
