Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dear Abby,
This is Abby. I know you know it’s me, because I am you. I just wanted to get some things off my chest, and I hope your infinite insight and wisdom can help cast light on these tough times of mine. I was found abandoned, running astray. I’ve bounced from one shelter to the next; all the while seeing other dogs leave, tails a-wagging, with new families of their own. I don’t want to seem like a braggart, but I am just as pretty and socially adjusted as them. Why can I not have my happiness? I enjoy gentle children, I can live with cats who are savvy with dogs, and I get along well with all the other doggies here. I have been applying myself to my crate training and do very well, I am told. If someone has a treat and uses positive-reinforcement training with me, then I give them my undivided attention. So I guess I am just wondering, what can I do to make a loving family want me?
Signed, Looking for Love.
