SIENNA's Story...
Sienna is such a beautiful girl, and she has the prettiest and most unusual coloring. She is also a very sweet girl that loves attention and to be loved on. When she sees me outside, she always runs up to the gate, happy and wagging her tail, just waiting on a little loving. Once I go in her pen and sit down with her for a visit she jumps in my lap and gives me kisses and pretty much expects a tummy rub or a back rub in return. She is fairly active and usually pretty quiet. She likes other dogs, as long as they’re fairly calm and not jumping all over her. Sienna would love nothing more than to be adopted by a loving family of her own. She was born around 1/16/15, so she is still young. She is small too, weighing 14 pounds the day she was spayed (9/16). She has been spayed, heartworm tested, fecal tested, current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.

Sienna is being fostered in Tennessee. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation. Once adopted, she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Due to state laws, we do not adopt to Maine residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SIENNA, a Hartford Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
