My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gibson is a 5 year old neutered male retriever mix.

He weighs about 45 lbs, but he needs to gain about 5 lbs. He has beautiful fur and a sweet personality, very easy to live with.

He came from a chaotic background so he is a little unsure, but he is not shy. Simple things that will resolve with time, like going through doorways or going down stairs, occasionally confuse him. He is housebroken, leads well on leash, and jumps right into the car.

After all the pandemonium that he has lived with, he wants a quiet life.

He ignores the cats and gets along with my other dogs. However, he has a strict no rough housing policy and does not want to let the other dogs play, even with each other. He would be fine being an only dog or with a dog that likes things serene. He hasn't shown any signs of separation anxiety.

He is well on his way to enjoying life to the fullest; he just needs a forever home to complete his journey.
