Brody's Story...
";If you're looking for a good-natured house dog who promises to your loyal friend, then let me introduce myself. My name is BRODY, and I'm a five-year-old Chihuahua who's an all-around great little dog. I like to go for walks and play fetch (I'll bring the ball right back to you), and I also love to snuggle. I know how to sit on command, and I've already been house trained. I get along well with other dogs, and I'd be a wonderful family pet. I've got a great personality, so you're sure to make me a cherished member of the family. It's too bad my original owner wasn't able to find me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, because I'm a special guy. I hope you'll come visit me and give me the chance to show you just how wonderful I am, then maybe you can take me home and love me forever. I get a little lonely in my kennel without the love of a person, so I hope you'll come soon. Love, Brody" Kennel #30

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
