Daphne was named after a mythological Greek nymph who was turned into a laurel tree by her father to escape the romantic pursuit of Apollo. Daphne is Greek for Laurel.  This Daphne was tired of trying to avoid the romantic advances of the male cats in the neighborhood where she was found.  She has been spayed and is waiting for her loving relaxed forever home.
