My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Will Chicken! He's a 5 year old Min Pin/Chihuahua mix that was rescued from an overcrowded shelter. Will is a nice boy that loves to be where the action is. He's just a little scared of new people but it doesn't take him long at all to warm up. Mr. Chicken's background is not known so it's best to stop by and spend some time with him and get to know him. You just may have found yourself a nice new best friend. Will was recently adopted and returned. He was too active for his new owner.

On October 01, 2015, Will Chicken was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting this prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. This dog will be returning to Friendship probably sometime in late December. All dogs return on an individual basis. You can find an app at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. Hand deliver the app to Friendship or call if you live a distance away to see if you can fax one in. Please DO NOT email the app.
