Holland's Story...
This gorgeous little lady is Holland! Holland is a very playful and fun-loving kitty. She could play all day, and lets her humans know when she wants more playtime! Holland is looking for a home where her humans will give her lots of attention and play. She is not yet a fan of laps, but enjoys napping near her humans on the bed and couch. Holland also loves food! She likes to talk when she is hungry (oh, and also when she is ready for playtime!) In her spare time she enjoys taking in the sights from her window. Take this fun-loving little lady home today!

Approx. DOB 5/15/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holland, a St. Louis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
