Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Priscilla and her 2 siblings were found on a country road. A good Samaritan picked them up and tracked down the owners. They accidentally let their 2 Chihuahuas breed and they couldn't care for the puppies. They didn't want to take them to the local pound because they have a terrible reputation and are involved in a criminal investigation for animal abuse. The good Samaritan took them home and contacted rescue and got the puppies to safety and also gave the owners a resource to get the mom and dad altered. Now we just need you to finish out this story and make sure all involved get their happily ever after. The puppies were born the beginning of July so they are about 12 weeks old. Priscilla weighs about 2 pounds now. She is a very loving puppy and gets along with all the other dogs and cats she is fostered with as well.
This pup has received at least 2 sets of Distemper/Parvo vaccines, 1 Bordetella vaccine. It has been wormed at least twice and has been spayed/neutered. It is currently on Flea/tick prevention and Heartworm prevention. If the pup is over 6 months of age it has also been tested for Heartworms. If the pup tested positive for heartworms, we treat them before they leave for their forever homes. Please email Jennifer at jenniferjmcbride@aol.com for an adoption application or if you have questions about this pup. Pudge is fostered in TN. This pup’s adoption fee is $500 which covers all the vetting mentioned above plus the extra vet visit and Interstate Health Certificate required for the pup to travel and the transport fee charged by the transport company that will transport this adopted pup from the South to his/her forever home in the North. We use a few different transport companies to help accommodate our adopters. Please feel free to check out their websites to familiarize yourself with their meeting locations to see if one company suits you better.
