My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have been described as a “little bundle of friendliness.” My name is Onyx and that is a good name because I am precious, just like the stone. I came to the AWLMC from the county shelter because my human, who is struggling with health issues, cannot keep her pets. But when she left me, she said I was playful, active, and affectionate, a lap cat who loves to be held and petted. When my foster mom picked me up, I wrapped my paws around her neck and nuzzled my face into her neck, purring softly. Because I wanted her to know how much I love her, and how happy I am to be rescued by the AWLMC and given another chance at love. I am a little bit shy at first, please be patient – my world has been turned upside down. But you can see how beautiful I am on the outside, and if you give me a chance....you’ll see I am equally beautiful on the inside. I was born in 2014.
