Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rescuer's Daughter found a well cared for very friendly small dog in a very busy intersection in Pomona on June 9th. Theyhave put up flyers and have been looking for a missing dog ad. The dog was not microchipped and had no collar and tags. They posted him under lost and found in their area on Craig's List on 6/16. They had no responses.
We are working with them to find a qualified home for this dog which is gentle but quite frightened after his scary experience less then 2 weeks ago. He is a male and if not neutered will be, brought up to date on shots and microchipped. He has a white and red fluffy haircoat and is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and possible Papillon mix. We estimate him to be about 17 lbs.
Adoption process includes completing a pre adoption application, homecheck, trial period, adoption contract and adoption donation of $200.
We named him Freddie in honor of of Fred Bergendorf who hosted the Pet Place Show for many years and recently passed away in Jan. 08 of ALS.
You can see Place Place with it's new host on KDOC, Channel 56 and read about Fred. Show airs Sunday mornings at 6:30am.
Our rescue made a guest appearance which aired Sunday, 6/22 at 6:30am. 5 of our dogs were featured and if you go to www.petplace.org you will be able to see the show in a couple of weeks from their website
