My name is Jada!

Domestic Shorthair Kitten for adoption in Seville, Ohio - Jada

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Jada's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Jada's Story...
Look at this girl. Her name is Jada.
She's an older kitten. Super playful. Incredibly athletic.
And completely untouchable.
Jada is great with other cats, but she runs from people. The only time she'll interact with a person is through play with toys (and then only if the person is at least an arm's length away).
Jada is like ... a magical creature from another realm. She flits from cat tree to cat tree, intent on secret missions only she knows. She's like a little bundle of furry fairy magic - appearing in the corner of your eye, then disappearing almost as soon as you look directly at her.
Jada needs a home. No kitten, not even one you can't touch, should have to grow up in a shelter. She would do best in a home with at least one other friendly cat. And she needs a special kind of person - someone who is willing to work with her, to teach her that she's safe. That she's loved. That she can use her kitten magic in the world of people, too.
So, if you know of someone who is patient and kind, someone who is willing to work with a kitten who is afraid of touch, won't you please send them Jada's way? She may be untouchable, but she's not unloveable. And she deserves a home of her own.!

Jada has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV. Adoption fee is $60. All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jada, a Seville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Seville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Seville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seville paves the way for another one to be saved.
