Mimi (Snuggly Laplover)'s Story...
I was a teenage mother, barely out of kitten hood myself; recently rescued from a Baltimore shelter. I'm petite, lean and leggy. Uniquely beautiful, I'm very affectionate, talkative and curious. I love to be petted and receive lots of attention. Lap sitting is a favorite past time! I'm friendly with both dogs & cats, too. I'm a unique siamese hidden in a brown tabby coat. Purr-fect!! Guaranteed to be your BFF!! Posted 9/21/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi (Snuggly Laplover), a Arlington Oriental cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Oriental for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Oriental cat from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Oriental breeders who help with Oriental rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
