Here's what the humans have to say about me:
GALE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Gale is a beautiful and unique 3 year old, 45 pound female mix breed in need of a loving home. Her previous owners said she was a Doberman mix, but she looks like she could be mixed with Vizsla or some type of hound. Whatever she is, she is one of the sweetest, most gentle and gorgeous ladies we've ever come across. She has not had the easiest life so far. She was turned into a high kill shelter in Kentucky with her two, two year old pups. It seems as if they have lived their whole lives in an outdoor pen. All three of the family members are quite shy and timid in new environments, but we are working with them and they are adapting to being much loved, indoor companions! Gale is also timid with new people, but she warms up very quickly. She's very clever and smiles and wiggles her whole body when she sees a familiar face! She is very affectionate, quiet and kind and with a little time and patience, we are sure she will blossom into a more confident girl. She also had never been on a leash before, so we are working with her on this and she is learning very quickly. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and is crate trained and quiet and well behaved in the home. Gale is going to make one lucky household very happy! She will be spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary) prior to adoption. Her adoption donation of $275 helps to cover her medical expenses while in our care.
