Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sugar is about 3 or 4 years old, her absolute favorite thing is running after a tennis ball and returning it to you. She will always bring it back and drop it in your hand if you want her to.
The problem with Sugar is that she gets tired after about 6 throws so we usually stop. She would play until she dropped. She is NOT a good partner for some one who wants to jog. Though a nice walk is always fun her.
Sugar needs just a few minutes or so of ball playing and then she just wants a doggy bed to relax in near her owner. She is extremely smart and very loyal.
This picture was taken while in the field after she chased the tennis ball several times.
She mostly ignores the other dogs who are also in the field with her. She has never shown any aggression toward her fellow "kennel mates" . Sugar has attended 2 obedience classes. She learned quickly and loved just being with everyone. She was very appropriate with the stranger dogs that were in the class. There was one dog in class that had been adopted from the kennel. it was a little dog and it adored Sugar. They both remembered each other and were happy to be together.
We did the DNA on her and it showed American Staffordshire Terrier on one side and Beagle and some other hounds on the other side.
