Hi all, my name is Dukey! I am a 9 year young female black and tan smooth! I'm a big standard girl weighing 27lbs but I'm not overweight. My previous owner had to surrender me through no fault of mine, so I'm already trained! Isn't that a great bonus?!

 

I have tons of fun energy and love to play ball… I'll even jump up to catch it or bump it with my nose! Walks are really great too and I adore going on them with you! I pull a bit at the start but will calm down soon after. Car rides are sooooo awesome too and I'll jump up onto the seat if you ask! Isn't that helpful of me? Just don't leave the window down, I get super excited and may want to try and jump out. I know some of your basic commands as well. I just love to be with my people as often as I can and want to make them happy! I love to curl up next to you on the couch so we can watch movies together! Feel free to give me a belly rub while we are at it, I won't complain. 

 

Looking to talk to someone that's a good listener? I love when you talk to me and will gladly sit and listen. I may interrupt now and then to give you a kiss or three. I grew up as an only fur child and because of this I'd prefer to be the only dog in your home, so I get ALLLLL your attention! Kids tend to move around a bit too fast for me and get too much of your attention as well so I'd rather be in a home with no kids. I am housetrained but don't  care for crates or x-pens. I prefer to be allowed to roam free while you are away, I don't damage anything! Just let me know you are going to come back and I will settle right down.
