My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Racer is the perfect pet! He is very affectionate, understands basic commands, is 99 % house trained and he gets along with dogs and cats. Racer was a stray and has suffered a pelvis injury that seems to be healing very well; and true to his name, he has no issue running at top speed whenever he gets a chance! Racer is still a puppy at heart and possibly in age, we believe he is approximately a year old. We also believe Racer to have something a little extra in him, although besides slightly longer legs, he looks VERY doxie!

Racer loves to snuggle, chew on bones and run! He is a true hound, with his nose to the ground during his walks. While he is excited to chase and play with dogs in the park, he is gentle and quiet around our cat. Sometimes he is unsure of how he feels about certain men, and he lets everyone one know by letting out a few barks; but he never shows any aggression and just needs a chance get close on his own terms. When left alone he whimpers, but not for long, and he is happy to chew on a bone or have a nap.

Racer needs a forever home that can offer lots of exercise and lots of time for cuddling. He is a lovable little guy who deserves to feel safe, secure and snuggled.
