And now a few words from my foster parents:

Ruby is a quiet and good natured gal but also quite shy and timid. She adores cuddling and if given the choice would snuggle all day long.  She is nervous and unsure of the outside world as she spent most of her life indoors with her previous owner.  She is very good with the resident doxies and loves to cuddle with them too. Her favourite pastime is sitting in the sun or watching squirrels from the deck.  She doesn't know much about playing and isnt quite sure what to make of toys or doggy-play.  She is nervous in the car and life outside the house in general but in time and with lots of encouragement she will definitely become more confident, in fact I have already seen finate strides in that area since being in our care.  She is most comfortable with another companion dog and struggles with being left alone, Ruby does howl in and out of the crate when left in the house with no humans and for this reason an apartment would not be suitable.  She runs and hides under the bed when she sees the leash but she walks well on a leash when she gets outside. When she is confident of her potty place and routine she rarely has accidents.  She does need to know where to go or she will go in the house.  She had many accidents at the beginning but now she knows the routine but does still go poo sometimes in the house. Ruby is a dear, quiet and gentle little lover who will strive in the right home and environment! Could that be with you?
