And now a few words from me:

Hello! My name is Samson and where I come from, dachshunds are big, strong and extra-long. I was a little surprised when I met my foster brothers – such small specimens! I am used to roughing it in a kennel and in fact, my foster home is the first house I have ever been in. My foster brothers explained to me what “toys” are: quite amusing to throw “a ball” in the air and then catch it again! I don’t want to take advantage of this new-found life of ease and pleasure, so I make sure to get along with everybody. Hey, you want that ball, please, be my guest! I particularly like my foster dad and am happy to be around him whenever possible. I like going on walks (and am fine meeting new dogs along the way), car rides, exploring the back yard, and, if you want company, I’ll be there for you. Do you want to meet?? I’ll lend you my ball!

And now a few words from my foster family:

Samson is a very easy fellow to like. He has quite a peaceful disposition, only barking at unknown outside noises like garbage trucks. He sleeps at night in his crate very willingly and is happy with whatever is on offer: walks, car rides, outdoor exploration with his foster brothers and play. He is well-meaning and will no doubt want to please his forever home as he is bright and a real country gentleman at heart. He will be a loving and faithful companion to the person who values him for the fine big fellow he is. Having grown up with the company of other dogs and humans, he would not do well if left alone for long periods of time.
