My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Alyce!
This beauty is a 3yr old female American pit bull terrier mix with a keen sense of curiosity and adventure. She is a lively and happy dog, with a kind eye and a ready smile. She is on the petite side with a beautiful short black coat with silver specks glittering about. Although a paradox to her wandering ways, she is also a total snuggle bug, a lap dog who thinks cuddling is an Olympic sport! Because she grew up as a wandering pirate, she was never taught proper boundaries and learned to be quite the escape artist. The good news is, she is super cute, so it's easy to forgive her faults but also, SHE IS VERY WILLING TO LEARN and WANTS TO PLEASE. She just needs some guidance from an attentive and consistent human pack leader. She is a people dog, and is ok with some dogs after she gets to know them (she misses her best friend Oliver...and it was hard to tell who was the Eddie Haskell in this pair) and can be scared when meeting dogs she does not know. She is also terrified of thunder... She is housebroken, has had some obedience training, is very smart and willing to train and will love love love you to pieces. She would do best in a home with no cats, small animals or tiny children. And her favorite thing to do? Ride in a car! Shotgun, please.
