Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tessa is a 5 year old pure bred Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff)
She was an owner surrender. They ran into some financial hardships and could no longer care for her.
We took her over. Had her fully vetted and she is ready for adoption.
She is crate trained and 100% housebroken. She was always an indoor dog.
She walks better on a leash with a training prong collar but with our staff trainer doesn't pull.
Tessa is a very quiet and shy dog. I would describe her as reserved.
Not around people she knows. A bit reserved and nervous around those she doesn't.
She is fully trained in Russian and understands some English, and of course hand signals which are universal.
Tessa is a beautiful example of the breed. She is also super deep dark red.
The best home for Tessa would be a calm stable environment. Older children.
According to her former owners, no dogs.
But we are testing her here out at the rescue to see if that holds true.
Tessa has never been abused or neglected in any way. Her family was simply doing what was in her best interest. And we have a ton of detailed history on her.
Tessa is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines.
Please if inquiring about Tessa. Tell us a little bit about your family, lifestyle, activity level, etc........
Thank you for looking.
She is a very sweet girl.
