Vernon is a male Jack Russell Terrier mix only 1 year old. He has a bright white coat that is gently wavy. His ears have just a little bit of light tan coloring on them and his eyes are a gorgeous shade of green. Vernon is a sturdy boy, weighing in at 15 pounds although he looks a bit bigger than that. He is athletic, super smart, and eager to please his people. Vernon tries very hard to understand your wishes and to obey. You can almost see him thinking things through. He is a quick learner and the sky is the limit as far as his abilities. Vernon has a very gentle touch and is a quiet, easy keeper inside the home. When he is out and about, he can keep up with pretty much anything. Long walks, hikes, trips to the doggie beach will most likely be some of his favorite activities. Vernon wants to be loved and to feel like he has a permanent place in your home and heart. He has been stray for most of his young life and seems in awe of things like treats or toys. Vernon is excellent with other dogs and would make a great playmate for a home with another playful young dog. He is good with children and will be a fun companion for kids as well. Games of fetch or snuggles on the couch, Vernon will be your buddy. Vernon is a very healthy dog and is ready for his new forever home today!
Vernon’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Vernon is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Vince and is ready for his forever home.
