Snoopy's Story...
Little Snoopy is so special! I picked him up in a Walmart parking lot when he was 6 1/2 weeks old. His siblings had been purchased but poor Snoopy had a case of ringworm and no one wanted him. So he has been alone, no mom or siblings since 6 1/2 weeks but the little guy is fearless and well adjusted. Quite spunky in fact and will make you laugh all the time. He is now 11 weeks and is still a little guy at about 5 lbs. He has had 2 sets of puppy shots. His ring worm will be completely gone, he will be neutered, will have his third set of shots and be ready to go to his new home Oct 16. If you would like to make this awesome little boy your new family member please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snoopy, a Harrisonburg Boston Terrier/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
