Here's what the humans have to say about me:
his handsome young man is Dozer, a lab/pit mix that is just a year and a half old, and hoping to go home with a fabulous new family of his own. Dozer was turned in when his family could no longer care for him due to financial difficulties. Poor Dozer was a bit shy and confused at first but once he realized he was in good hands, he warmed up quickly and began to focus on the future and not dwell on the past. Dozer is a giant puppy, really. He is silly, sweet, playful, and whines and whimpers just like a puppy when he wants a toy or some attention from you. He is an absolute darling that just loves people and making new friends, but will need a home with no other pets. Dozer grew up around young children and is just fine with them. He is very strong and playful and will need a little training with leash walking, but once we found him a good harness, he began behaving like a real gentleman. Dozer is very polite and sits nicely when asked, and he also takes treats and toys very gently. He is just a big mush that would love an active family to go hiking and running with, and just to love him forever. File#25447 9/9/15
