Facts about Maddy - MD

  • Breed: Bichon Frise
  • Color: White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Maddy is a 12 year old neutered male who just loves to hang out with his humans. He is a healthy 18 lbs little boy that, unfortunately, is missing all but 16 of his teeth due to neglected dental care. But that doesn't slow him down. As soon as his mouth heals, we will be trying him on dry food. For now, he is eating canned chunky food with gusto.

Maddy, a people dog, would be happy as an only dog with someone home at least part of the time to give him love and attention. He is submissive with other dogs and isn't one to "play". Not sure about cats or children but he loves meeting people. He gives the "Bichon wave" when he craves your attention (or a treat). A single story or one with low rise longer steps is preferred due to his short legs. He can't jump on the furniture. He will need help if you want him to sleep with you but he is also content with his crate.

He will need another dog in the home or someone that is home most of the time. Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. Maddy is located in MD

Donations are greatly appreciated for his care. If you would like to donate, please click here
